Learning through Creativity

Art and creativity are essential components in problem solving and abstract thinking. During the day the children are exposed to creativity activities through art integration, which is the combining of arts with a subject of study in order to learn the new information. So instead of having a teacher centered approach, the children learn naturally through exposure to the information. This way they absorb new information in a way that is creative, and fun, and at the same time they exercise a number of important creative and problem solving skills. Here are some pictures of our children working independently on our Independence day projects, learning shapes, colors, patterns, and how to manage art materials.
