Tuesdays are our science days. On this day we will be learning about and experiencing the world of biology, science and geography. As we are at the start of the year, we will be focusing the next few weeks on ‘me’. Today, we looked at our finger prints, observing the lines, and how these are unique to each person. To do this, each had the opportunity to stamp their finger with black ink, and to examine the print using a magnifying glass. They then look at each others, trying to identify the differences. The new words they took from this activity include: magnifying glass, finger print, ink.
