New Rhyme

Unfortunately there appears to be a technical problem with the blog, as I am unable to upload pictures 😦

However, until this is working, I thought I would let you know what new rhymes and songs we are learning so you can follow through at home. The children have been doing mini concerts for one another, reciting all the English rhymes they have learned. I am so very proud of them all. Last week we learned:

Polly put the kettle on,

Polly put the kettle on,

Polly put the kettle on

We all have tea.

Sukey take it off again,

Sukey take it off again,

Sukey take it off again,

They have all gone away.

To reinforce this learning we made some kettles, and took turns acting out the putting on and taking off of the kettle. We also made some cake and had a little tea party.

This weeks rhyme:

There was a man who had a dog and BINGO was his name oh,

B.I.N.G.O, B.I.N.G.O., B.I.N.G.O and BINGO was his name oh.

Ask your children about these, picking up on particular words and concepts.
